Summary

Close to a dozen officers, including some carrying semi-automatic weapons and wearing fatigues, gathered along a road between 176th Street and a blueberry farm and home north of Cloverdale early Thursday evening. There are some indications this may be a result of a possible ‘shots heard’ call. Vancouver Rundown can report a car at the scene had both its passenger and driver’s side doors open - details and the circumstances have not yet been confirmed by Surrey RCMP. The incident slowed northbound traffic along 176th for a while.

Vancouver Police aren’t giving any details about the large number of emergency responders who descended on a block of homes near Renfrew and 8th Avenue on Thursday. The VPD has not confirmed comments from those in the area that a body had been found. The scene was behind yellow tape, late Thursday.
