There’s no word on the cause.

Exclusive: A home has been destroyed in a Sunday evening fire in Mission. Crews took almost three hours to put out the blaze on Olson Avenue near Clay Street. There’s no word on whether anyone was hurt but a second ambulance had to be called-in to replace the standby unit.
The Mounties in Chilliwack now say a man they thought had drowned in the Vedder River…survived. The man called police early Saturday evening, hours after he was reported missing. Search and Rescue members had been called out after a couple fishing rods and a toque were found in the water.
Vancouver and several other Lower Mainland municipalities have now activated their extreme weather response as overnight temperatures continue to drop. Additional shelter spaces have opened and outreach workers are making more night patrols, looking for those needing to get indoors. A clear overnight sky is expected to keep temperatures below the freezing mark for most of this week.
A mix of sun and cloud for Monday - windy at times. More cloudy periods for Tuesday and Wednesday. Here are the latest conditions at our private weather station in Surrey.
