Summary
Two people are recovering in hospital after a floatplane collided with a small boat in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour. It happened Saturday afternoon, shocking witnesses who saw the plane taking off but failing to clear the boat that powered in front of its path. All five of the plane’s passengers and the pilot were not hurt. An investigation is underway to figure out blame.

A sad note that ends the search for a missing rower on Abbotsford’s Sumas River. The body of the 65-year-old' was recovered by divers on Saturday. The man had been reported missing early Wednesday evening.
Four young men are now charged in Friday’s deadly shooting near 164 Street and 10 Avenue in South Surrey. Yuvraj Goyal, 28, of Surrey died in the targeted attack. A burned vehicle was found nearby. All four suspects are charged with first degree murder in what appears to be a gang hit.
