Summary
Some cool stories may be shared at work on Monday as those living in parts of White Rock, Surrey and Langley experienced quit the blast of lightning and thunder. A single strike on Saturday evening, believed to have occurred in the Clayton Heights area, got residents posting numerous comments on Facebook and Twitter about how it sounded like a bomb blast. Apparently, there was no serious damage reported anywhere.

Speaking of weather, a cold trough is moving through parts of southwestern B.C. and the snowline could drop to as low as 14-hundred metres. That means some mountain passes could experience a late June snowfall this week. It’s been an odd month with those above normal temperatures and dry conditions back in early June.
