A BASE jumper has one hell of a story when people ask what he did on over the weekend. He was rescued when SAR volunteers used long-lines and a lot of expertise to pluck him from a jump-gone-wrong on the infamous Chief in Squamish. A helicopter could not be used in this spot. This happened early Saturday morning. The man is fine.
