A man’s in custody after a daylight stabbing in Surrey’s Clayton Heights neighbourhood. Police say a woman managed to make her way to a neighbour’s house after being stabbed near Sundance Drive and 64 Avenue during the noon hour on Sunday. Her injuries are not life-threatening. The man who drove away was later arrested in Langley.

Why would someone shoot a homeless man in Burnaby? That’s what RCMP are trying to figure out after a 71-year-old was shot in a wooded area near Highway One and Willingdon Avenue. It happened Saturday night - the man is expected to survive his serious injuries. RCMP think the incident was isolated.
A man in his 50s has died after falling into traffic near Vancouver General Hospital on Friday night. The man was hit at around 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Hemlock and West 12th. The driver did not stop and has not been tracked down.
Store by store liquidation sales are expected to start this week at Canada’s Hudson’s Bay stores - including the one in downtown Vancouver. Sales are expected to wrap up by June 15, then the stores will start to close. There are 88 brick-and-mortar Bay stores across Canada.
