Summary
Some Chinese nationals blame the strike at Canada Post for a situation that’s left them stuck in Vancouver, waiting for critical documents. Stella Xing, a Chinese national who has been working in the U.S., tells CBC News her passport and work visa were approved last week but are now caught up in the mail. She says she travelled to Vancouver earlier this month to renew her documents. She’s one of several in the same situation who say they are losing hundreds of dollars each day because of the delay.

Investigators are trying to figure out why someone shot up a house in Pitt Meadows in a targeted attack early Sunday morning. Almost a dozen shots were heard by neighbours in the area of 122 Ave and 188 Street. So far, RCMP have not released any information about the shooting so residents don’t know if they’re in danger or not.
