Summary
The Parole Board and the Senate are to blame for the disappearance of child sex predator Randall Hopley, according to David Eby. The Premier says all British Columbians are deeply disturbed to hear about the release of a sex offender who targets children. The 58-year-old Hopley walked away from his Vancouver halfway house prompting a warning from the VPD over the weekend. The perv made national headlines with an Amber Alert in 2011 after abducting a sleeping three-year-old from a second floor bedroom at a home in Sparwood. Hopley got a sex year sentence for the abduction and was released under a long-term supervision order.
