A first degree murder charge has now been laid against a 25-year-old man from Coquitlam in Friday morning’s shooting death of RCMP Constable Rick O’Brien. Nicholas Bellemare is also charged with attempted murder after two other officers were hurt during the execution of an arrest warrant in Coquitlam.
