Premier David Eby says B.C. is looking for other, non-American customers. The comment comes as Eby and some fellow premiers wrap up their meetings with members of the Trump Administration in Washington, D.C. The premier described the meetings as mostly positive but lawmakers are already pushing back on Eby’s comments that Canada becoming a 51st state is a non-starter. Donald Trump did not meet with the premiers.

Four men have been arrested on dozens of charges as RCMP raided a so-called fraud factory in Pitt Meadows. Burnaby RCMP say the move follows a two year investigation. Police seized two excavators - purchased through fraud, industrial printers, engravers, a VIN stamping machine, blank documents and a gun.
A New Westminster man has died after being struck by a work truck on McBride Boulevard. It happened Tuesday night and resulted in a the road being closed for several hours. New West Police hope to talk to witnesses as they piece together the circumstances.
Hullo Ferries is considering adding a second route from Vancouver to Vancouver Island. It comes as the private passenger ferry service reports a 50 per cent increase customer increase on its Vancouver to Nanaimo run. Hullo runs 12 trips per day for about $40 per passenger each way.
