Summary
Even though much of our province has had some rain and more showers and cooler conditions remain in the forecast, it’s not enough to keep B.C.’s wildfire danger in check. Forecasters remain concerned about drought conditions over the spring - the woods are still very dry. Meanwhile, some resorts and tourism related businesses are trying to survive a downturn as Highway 4 remains closed due to the smallish Cameron Bluffs fire.

Goodbye 14-CFUN or whatever the hell it became. The iconic station at 1410 on Vancouver’s AM dial has gone dark with Bell’s move to kill-off six of its Canadian AM stations and sell another three. Also gone in Vancouver is AM 1040 which the company turned from all sports to audio recordings of B-list comedians. This is all part of Bell’s elimination of 1,300 jobs across the country including a few on the TV side at CTV.
