Summary
Homicide investigators have not caught the suspects in Sunday evening’s fatal shooting of Guru Nanak Sikh temple president Hardeep Singh Nijjar but they do say the two ran off and were wearing hoods. It’s believed they ran through Surrey’s Cougar Creek Park and got into a nearby car. Nijjar had been an outspoken proponent of a Khalistan referendum on independence from India.

Members of the RCMP’s Undercover Recovery Team continue to search Stump Lake, south of Kamloops, for two Lower Mainland men who went missing on Monday. Dogs have also been searching the shoreline. The men failed to return from their fishing trip on Monday but all that’s been recovered is some debris at the north end of the lake.
