Summary
Const. Rick O’Brien has now been honoured at a public service at the Langley Event Centre. The Ridge Meadows Mountie, who lived in Langley with his wife and six kids, was remembered as a kind and caring man who loved a good joke. Thousands gathered along a procession route and at the LEC for the Wednesday afternoon service. The 51-year-old died in the line of duty last month while helping to serve a warrant in Coquitlam.
