Summary
Pro-Palestinian protesters shut down access to Ladner’s Deltaport container facility Monday morning to denounce Canadian support for Israel’s actions in Gaza. At one point, the demonstration snarled some traffic getting to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal. The protest was one of about 50 taking place around the world on Monday.

Rents appear to be on the decline in Vancouver, according to a report by rental listing website Zumper. Rents for a one bedroom apartment in the city, at an average of $2,650 per month, are holding or declining on average but Vancouver still remains the most expensive city in the country. Burnaby, Victoria and Kelowna are also on the list of B.C.’s most expensive rental cities.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny but a bit breezy in some spots around the Lower Mainland. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be sunny with highs in the upper teens. Here are the latest conditions from our private weather station in Surrey.
