Summary
Blame the fog. Drivers around the Lower Mainland have been trying to navigate through thick fog since early Monday morning. One driver missed the curve on 8th Ave in Langley Monday evening, landing a car in the middle of a concrete barrier. Environment Canada’s continued its Weather Advisory saying the fog could continue through all of Tuesday morning.

Rescuers have saved another tourist from the North Shore mountains. A 22-year-old man reported being stuck, on Grouse Mountain’s Goat Ridge, late Sunday afternoon. The hiker was cold, tired and hungry but managed to be taken to the Grouse Skyride. North Shore Rescue says the hiker was relying on the wrong information from a trail app on his phone.
A B.C. cryptocurrency promoter has been fined $18.4M. David Smillie’s penalty, imposed by the BC’s security regulator, is for defrauding his clients in a now defunct cryptocurrency exchange. It claims Smillie and his company diverted close to a thousand bitcoin for their own purposes.
