Summary
A woman is dead and homicide investigators are trying to figure out what happened at a home on 182A Street at Parsons Drive in the north eastern part of Surrey. Despite help from primary care paramedics Sunday night, the woman died before making it to the hospital. A man was arrested nearby.

Four suspects in a shooting death in South Surrey are expected in court Tuesday morning. All are charged with first degree murder in the killing of Yuvraj Goyal on 164 Street June 7. A burning car was found nearby. Goyal had no record of contact with police although investigators believe this was a targeted attack.
Narcotics and other contraband continue to make their way into the Matsqui Institution in Abbotsford. The Corrections Service says THC, meth, tobacco and computer drives have been found at the federal medium security prison- worth over $100,000. Earlier this year, the union representing correctios officers warned of drones making drops into the prison yard.
Close to $9B worth of repairs and upgrades is urgently needed according to a report by B.C.’s school trustees. The BC School Trustees Association says the money is needed over the next five years following years of underfunding for facilities. The Association recommends an immediate increase in capital funding to cover maintenance and new facilities.
