Trump said he would slap the tariffs on Canada and Mexico on his first day in office. The reason - Trump says both countries have failed to stem the flow of illegal aliens and drugs like fentanyl coming into the U.S. B.C. is a major supplier of resources for American housing and manufacturing.

Canadian border guards have stopped close to 250 kilos of cocaine from entering the country at the Aldergrove and Pacific Highway crossings. CBSA says its officers, along with dogs, found the drugs during three separate incidents - the street value is pegged at close to $7M. In each case, the drugs were found in commercial trucks.
A car and a garage have been destroyed in an early Monday morning explosion and fire in White Rock. The home suffered smoke and water damage but no one was hurt. The cause remains a mystery.
Some Swifties got a short-lived glimmer of hope after Ticketmaster released more Taylor Swift tickets for the superstar’s three Vancouver concert dates. Until Monday, the concert had been sold out for months. These extra tickets were sold-out only minutes after they were made available online. The Eras Tour includes three nights in Vancouver, starting Dec. 7.
