Summary

Some folks will be dealing with insurance adjusters after a three alarm fire destroyed four businesses in the heart of Kerrisdale Sunday night. There’s still no word on what caused the fire on West 41st near East Boulevard. Several people have also been displaced from residential units on the second floor. The building housed a Nandos which was one of the businesses gutted by flames.

Breaking news: One person has been arrested at the scene of a pedestrian MVI on 202nd Street just north of the intersection with 64th Avenue. Witnesses say a woman was hit after leaving a Wendy’s, next to the scene, shortly after 8:00 p.m. Monday evening. Rescuers worked to reach the pedestrian who appeared to be pinned under a Chevy truck. RCMP spent early Monday evening talking with witnesses and looking for possible video. At publication, nothing has been released by the RCMP.
