Note from David Eby to would-be Green voters: Vote NDP instead to keep John Rustad and the BC Conservatives out of power. Eby made that plea over the weekend as his fears grow that there will be a change in government. Advance voting continues Tuesday and Wednesday with the final vote on Saturday.
One person is dead after an overnight crash on the Lougheed Highway near Agassiz. Shortly after midnight going into Tuesday morning, a truck and car collided. The driver of the smaller vehicle could not be revived at the scene. An air ambulance was stood down. The highway was closed for close to 10 hours.
Alternative metal group Evanescence will be headlining a trio of acts at Rogers Arena in Vancouver Tuesday evening. The group has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity thanks to many viral social media posts of versions of their Bring Me To Life. Also on the ticket are Halestorm and The Warning. Gates open at 7:00 p.m.
