Summary
People around the Lower Mainland and the rest of the South Coast are waking up to a Wednesday Winter Wonderland. With temperatures just below the freezing mark, wet snow has fallen over frozen streets making road conditions and commuting extra treacherous. Parents have been advised to check school district websites and social media for word on closures. Freezing rain is expected late Wednesday with some expressing concerns that ice may be the biggest danger heading into Thursday.
