Summary
As we head toward the end of June, close to 100 wildfires are burning across the province. That’s way more than usual - July and August are usually peak fire season. Most of the B.C. wildfires have been caused by lightening and another storm passed through the Okanagan and other parts of the Interior Tuesday evening. The provincial government has warned this will be a difficult summer for B.C.’s forests.
