Vancouver Rundown Wednesday March 6, 2024
Summary
Some idiot drove a car into Burrard Inlet in what appeared to be an attempt to get livestream attention on social media. Port Moody Police say the car remained in the water Monday night because tow truck drivers weren’t able to retrieve it. Police believe a social media influencer paid the driver to go off the pier at Rocky Point for a YouTube video. ICBC and police are looking into what sort of penalties could be involved.
