B.C. is ahead of schedule in terms of this year’s active forest fire season - 60 wildfires are burning across the province including the massive Stoddart Creek fire near Fort. St. John. B.C. Wildfire is imposing a province-wide burning ban starting on Thursday. Some slightly cooler temperatures are in the forecast but the possibility of thunderstorms remains in some parts of the Interior.
