Summary
A Tuesday afternoon crash closed the north lanes of the Massey Tunnel for several hours. It happened at around 3:45 and even southbound traffic was impacted. Many drivers had to use the Alex Fraser Bridge as an alternative to get from Surrey and Delta into Richmond. There’s no word on the cause of the crash or any injuries.

A man’s been arrested in a brutal attack on a female tourist near the Canada Place cruise ship terminal. It happened Sunday morning - the 25-year-old woman was repeatedly punched and kicked in the face. Records show the suspect has appeared in court more than a dozen times since being arrested for assault last November.
RCMP are trying to find three female suspects in an attack on a Surrey woman earlier this month. A bystander took the victim to hospital after she was stabbed multiple times near University Drive and 102 Avenue early Sunday morning Oct. 6. Police say they don’t believe the three young women knew their victim.
Support for the B.C. Conservatives has dropped following the televised leaders’ debate. An Angus Reid Institute poll finds those willing to vote Conservative has slid four points to 40 per cent while NDP support remains the same at 45 per cent. Those willing to vote B.C. Green went up by two points to 12 per cent. The poll was conducted Oct 9 to 13.
