Summary
In the news, it’s not a good look for the B.C. Ministry of Health. Auditor General Michael Pickup has found the province failed in properly collecting data about vaccine rollouts and that posed risks to several groups. He especially nots the process was cumbersome in about 500 long term care facilities. Pickup’s report makes two recommendations: BC have access to a current registry of staff and residents at LTC and assisted living facilities, and also have access to a registry of health care workers in health authorities.
