In the news, following excellent reporting by Penny Daflos at CTV Vancouver, B.C. Health Minister Adrian Dix continues to avoid a growing round of allegations centred on a toxic work environment and the muzzling of health-care workers. The Doctors of BC and BC Nurses’ Union are among several groups denouncing efforts to silence criticism and complaints about the public health-care system by those working in it. BC Liberal Leader Kevin Falcon says people should not feel bullied, pressured or muzzled when they’re trying to make suggestions to improve patient safety.
