From bad to worse. The massive public service strike in Canada is about to get a whole lot more visible and the union is in a prime position to make sure the impacts are felt. A weekend of talks between the Treasury Board and PSAC have done little but bring out the fingers - pointing at each other. An interesting factoid was revealed this weekend - just over a third of striking PSAC members actually cast a ballot in the vote for a strike mandate. Oh - and of those who did vote, only 80 per cent agreed to have a strike mandate.
