Summary

In the news, at the time of writing this update all is set for transit drivers in parts of the the Fraser Valley to launch a full scale strike on Monday. The action by drivers at First Transit would affect riders in Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack Agassiz, Harrison and Hope. The 200 or so drivers are represented by CUPE 561 which has reported no significant progress in reaching a new collective agreement. No new talks have been scheduled.
