Summary

In the news, the rail crossing at 200th and Production Way in Langley has flashing lights on gates, new ‘train approaching’ overhead update signs, intersection lights and trains that travel slowly while blowing their whistles. Yet, one person was killed Sunday morning after a freight train and car collided at that crossing. Police say there is no indication the operator of the train was at fault.
