The summary
In the news, the South Coast (and much of the B.C. Interior) continues to struggle with a cold snap that includes some bitter winter weather. At least two air ambulances and several ground crews were sent to a spot on the Coquihalla Highway Wednesday afternoon for a crash involving some trucks. It happened as conditions turned especially shitty on the icy stretch leading up to the first major curve. That was one of several such incidents on that stretch of Highway Five. Meanwhile, YVR continues to struggle with moving passengers. Many travelers struggled to find hotel rooms and new flights after cancellations and lengthy delays. Another snow storm is expected tonight which may cause even more problems for Friday.
