In the news, while Italian authorities have reported a 50 per cent COVID infection rate for those flying in from China, don’t expect YVR or other Canadian airports to have any screening for flights coming in from the PRC. That’s despite a move by the U.S. and many other countries to resume screening in light of the fact hospitals and morgues in China are reporting a huge increase in COVID cases. For those going into the States from China, proof of a negative test result from the last two days will be required before people are cleared for entry.
