In the news, Global News is reporting as many as a dozen female Vancouver Police officers are now under investigation in connection with a crash that happened on Tuesday afternoon near Royal Oak Avenue and Kingsway in Burnaby. The Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner is looking into allegations the cops from Vancouver tried to interfere with the Mounties’ investigation. It’s claimed a Vancouver cop was being questioned by a Burnaby RCMP officer and that prompted her colleagues to somehow intervene. The Vancouver officers were said to be in Burnaby for a training course around the same time.
