Minor Hockey parents in Surrey are outraged after a beloved coach was let go. The firing at the hands of the Surrey Minor Hockey Association came without any explanation but some believe it relates to his decision to have the kids, mostly 10-year-olds, leave the ice during a tournament in Coquitlam after facing racist slurs from supporters of the other team. Many of the Surrey kids are South Asian.
