The summary
In the news, more crime. A triple shooting in Coquitlam last night has left two people dead and another hurt. People heard gunfire near Dawes Hill Road and Mundy Street just after 7:30 last night, and called the cops. When Mounties turned up, they saw a couple of victims - one dead, the other died after being rushed to hospital. A third person was found a bit later and had less serious injuries. There is no word on this being connected to that shootout and carjacking following a robbery at a Port Coquitlam car lot. Also - police are not publicly drawing any links to a pickup that was stolen in Coquitlam and a police incident near Merritt that shutdown the Coquihalla Highway for a while.
