In the news, yesterday’s Dix/DBH news conference on the flu season produced, well…what most would expect. People are being told to get kids vaccinated…only about 20 per cent of elementary school aged kids have hat their shots. The newser did not make any suggestions that mask mandates could ever come back, despite a combination of flu, other respiratory illnesses and COVID being a real problem right now. Bonnie Henry says this season is similar to ones in the past, before COVID was around.
