In the news, B.C.’s Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner has found seven Vancouver Police officers may be in the wrong in the 2015 death of 33-year-old Myles Gray. Global News is reporting those officers may face discipline as harsh as losing their jobs in connection with their roles in an altercation with Myles in the backyard of a home near the Vancouver-Burnaby boundary. Police were responding to a neighbour complaint over lawn-watering restrictions. The IIO says some of the officers failed to co-operate with the investigation into their conduct.
