The summary

In the news, from bad to worse for soon-to-depart Surrey Mayor Doug McCallum. Yesterday, the unelected mayor pleaded not guilty to public mischief in his allegation that Clayton Heights resident Debi Johnstone (who worked for years in both public relations and radio), ran over his foot at a South Surrey Save-On-Foods parking lot. Seven days are set aside for the trial - not sure it will last that long. A follow-up to the heartbreaking death of a 31-year-old Burnaby Mountie. Constable Shaelyn Yang will be accorded a full regimental funeral on Wednesday at the Richmond Olympic Oval. The officer with the mental health and homeless outreach team was stabbed at Broadview Park on October 17th. Stateside, yet another rapper has been shot dead. This time it’s Takeoff from Migos. The 28-year-old and two others were on the receiving end of gunfire at a private party in Houston.
